In 1994, Hope Edelman wrote a book about being 17 and losing her mother, and the impact that loss continued to have on her in adulthood. That book, Motherless Daughters, struck something deep across America and became immensely popular. Now Edelman has children of her own, and a fresh perspective which inspired her new book Motherless Mothers.
