On the wintry morning of December 16, 1944, a very small group of American soldiers, most just barely out of their teens, suddenly found themselves face to face with thousands of German troops in the Ardennes Forest. It was the beginning of what would come to be known as the Battle of the Bulge. Now journalist Alex Kershaw shows how this small American platoon changed the course of the battle by doing what looked impossible.
