It doesn't take much effort to make a significant difference in the world, says the head of one of the world's best-known activist organizations. Ingrid Newkirk is president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. But her book is not limited to doing kind things for animals, although that's a key part of the book. It's about making choices that will be environmentally aware, and earth-friendly.
