For years one of the most recognizable personalities on the men's professional golf tour was not a golfer, it was Bruce Edwards, longtime caddy for pro Tom Watson. In 2003, Edwards was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. Not long afterward, he asked his friend of 20 years, sportswriter John Feinstein, to help him write a book. Feinstein's book was published in April 2004, the same month Bruce Edwards died.
