Dyslexia is not what you may think it is. It's not a disorder affecting only boys, in which they see words backwards. And, most encouragingly, dyslexia is not unconquerable. Yale neuroscientist Dr. Sally Shaywitz says it's possible to "re-wire" the brains of people with dyslexia.
