A couple of years ago writer Mary Roach gave us an unprecedented look at what happens to dead people, or more precisely, their bodies once they're gone. That book was called Stiff. Now Roach turns her attention to the next logical question: what happened to the souls that once occupied those bodies? It's a question that confounds scientists, and even the devoutly religious may admit that they're not certain what heaven will really be like. Mary Roach's new book is called Spook.
