In Jeffery Deaver's seventh book to feature moody quadriplegic detective Lincoln Rhyme, there is a series of murders, all of them the grisly work of a sadistic killer who seems to delight in causing very slow deaths. And Rhyme is alarmed to realize the killer has several more victims in mind, in Deaver's mystery "The Cold Moon."

Jeffery Deaver is the international number-one bestselling author of Roadside Crosses, The Bodies Left Behind, The Broken Window, The Sleeping Doll, The Bone Collector and twenty-one other suspense novels. His books have been translated into twenty-five languages.
