In early 1968 the Soviet Union lost track of one of its nuclear-armed submarines. Soon it was apparent the sub was a rogue, and what we now know, says the author of a hair-raising nonfiction book, is that the rogue submarine may have actually tried to start World War Three with a nuclear attack on Pearl Harbor. U.S. Navy veteran and nuclear engineer Kenneth Sewell tells the story in his book Red Star Rogue.
