After the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 that toppled Saddam Hussein's regime, President Bush sent veteran diplomat L. Paul Bremer to Iraq as administrator of the Coalition Provisional Authority. Bremer was the senior American for 14 months, overseeing everything from the restoration of Iraqi self-government to the hunt for Saddam. Bremer now tells his story in a book called My Year in Iraq.
