Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code is a modern-day thriller built around secrets supposedly contained in Leonardo's late 15th century painting "The Last Supper." As Brown was writing his book, Spanish novelist Javier Sierra was writing his, a thriller actually set in the late 15th century, as Leonardo was finishing his painting. Sierra's novel is called The Secret Supper.
