Andrew Carnegie was a poor immigrant from Scotland who became the richest man in the world by building America's steel industry. Henry Clay Frick was also a self-made millionaire, and joined Carnegie as a business partner. But a bloody union strike in 1892 crippled their partnership and their friendship, and the once close comrades became bitter rivals.
