Is hypocrisy so bad, really? To call someone a hypocrite is the most powerful insult, guaranteed to incite. But Jeremy Lott argues in his book "In Defense of Hypocrisy" that hypocrisy has a purpose in human relationships, a meaning that has become lost and obscured. And he argues, maybe it's time to give hypocrisy its due.
