Sadly, on June 19, 2013, Vince Flynn lost his battle with prostate cancer. He was 47. We talked with Vince often; he was a good and loyal friend of Eye on Books. RIP, Vince.

"Consent to Kill"

There's a price on professional government assassin Mitch Rapp's head, in the Vince Flynn thriller Consent to Kill. A powerful Saudi billionaire wants Mitch dead, in compensation for his son's life. But the one thing you don't want to do to Mitch Rapp is try to kill him because all you'll do is make him mad.

Government itself is just so big, you can't really put your hand[s] around it. ... It's almost impossible to even figure out if you're supposed to be working with one [agency] and not another. A lot of times people find out because they start getting complaints against them. Before that they don't even know that they're violating the law. There's just too much law.
